Ensure provision of emergency stoma kits in supermarkets and shopping centres

What the petition asks
We want the Government to help people who are in a situation with their stoma bags not feel embarrassed by mandating that emergency kits are available in supermarkets & shopping centres, like sanitary products. There are more people with them now. Maybe a card to ensure they are entitled to them.
My husband, who has now sadly passed away, was once in a situation where his bag has split. The glue wasn’t sticking on his spare and we had no alternative. It is difficult for people to imagine how that feels. I went into multiple pharmacies to be told I needed a prescription. In an emergency, I think it’s a little bit demoralising to have to worry about the risk when it could be easily solved. It the world we live in today I think that these should be made readily available.
