I would like the UK Government to create a free and accessible NHS period tracking app. Many existing apps require subscriptions for important features, making menstrual health support less accessible for those in poverty. A free NHS app could provide secure cycle tracking and health information.

Many people rely on period tracking apps to manage menstrual health, monitor symptoms and track irregular cycles. However, many apps charge subscriptions for features such as symptom analysis and cycle predictions, or raise concerns around privacy and personal health data. Some apps may also provide unreliable information. A free NHS app could provide reliable information and guidance for conditions such as endometriosis and PCOS, helping people better understand symptoms and next steps.
