Review the requirements for permission to take children on holiday

What the petition asks
The Government should review the current requirements for parents who are sole carers of children but share parental responsibility to take their children out of the UK for a holiday.
The sole carer will usually have the passports and birth certificates. We believe they should not need to rely on another parent to decide whether or not they can go on holiday abroad. We are concerned that this allows abuse and control over the parent who wants to go on a family holiday with their children. This affects many victims of domestic abuse.
