Disqualify any prospective MP from standing if they hold a PPE degree.

What the petition asks
Holding a PPE degree is an insufficient qualification for someone who wishes to run the country. It is seen by too many as a route to government, but it is a generic, meaningless subject that requires zero real-world ability, particularly for those in the Cabinet. Make Government competent again.
Stop under-qualified, over-entitled politicians from lording it over us when they have zero practical experience of running anything of any meaningful complexity. The PPE degree should not be a shortcut to power, nor a substitute for ability.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
There aren't currently any degree or other types of qualification requirements for standing to become an MP. We could accept a petition calling for qualification requirements to be introduced, providing it was clear what you'd like these to be.
