Petition Description: Digital Privacy is a Human Right Protect Our Future

What the petition asks
Privacy is a human right. As a youth, I do not feel safe in the UK. The government wants total control of our data. They are banning Apple Advanced Data Protection and breaking encryption, while handing private NHS data to surveillance firms like Palantir. We demand our right to digital safety.
Privacy is for the people always. A free society is built upon this right. The government says if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear. This logic is completely backwards. We should never have to justify wanting to keep our lives private. Instead the state must justify spying on us. Stripping away our encryption by blocking Apple Advanced Data Protection leaves young people vulnerable to hackers. Giving all our NHS data to Palantir is reckless. We demand privacy for once!
