Introduce a Statutory Right to Independent Legal Review for Bereaved Families

When a jury acquits defendants in a homicide trial despite what many view as undeniable, objective evidence—like CCTV of a fatal hit-and-run or a victim's ignored pleas for help—bereaved families have no legal recourse. We are concerned that current laws treat acquittals as final, even if police or the CPS failed catastrophically. We demand a statutory right to an independent review of authorities' case handling when acquittals contradict clear evidence. This could force transparency and accountability for miscarriages of justice.
