Petition
Stop Uncontrolled HMO Expansion in the Royal Borough of Greenwich

What the petition asks
Introduce an Immediate Temporary Ban on New HMO Approvals in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
We call on the UK Government to support a temporary ban on all new HMO planning approvals in the Royal Borough of Greenwich until the next General Election. Residents are increasingly concerned about the uncontrolled growth of HMOs, particularly in areas such as Plumstead, where family homes are being lost, parking pressure is worsening, local services are strained, and community balance is being damaged by overdevelopment.
Why it was rejected
It was about a matter for a local council or devolved government, not the UK Government or Parliament.
