What the petition asks

Closing the 12.8% UK gender pay gap will add £55bn to our economy. Parliament must legislate immediately to boost business productivity, lift working families out of poverty, and completely end the unfair motherhood penalty for a much fairer and Prosperous future and change society as we know it.

I seriously don’t believe that something as small as gender should have an effect on pay in jobs by 12.8% and actually don’t think that our pay should be defined by gender anyway. Please change this so what we leave behind for our children is not prejudice and discrimination against a gender as a whole but instead an equal society teaching them that we should all accept and support one and another.
