Fund work experience placements for all young people

What the petition asks
Too many young people cannot access meaningful work experience because employers do not offer enough placements. We want the Government to fund grants to medium and large employers to provide work experience opportunities to help tackle youth unemployment and skill gaps.
Work experience can help young people develop employability skills, confidence and career awareness. However, many students struggle to secure placements because many employers do not offer opportunities. This can leave young people feeling disheartened and unprepared for the world of work. We want the Government to provide funding to encourage or incentivise medium and large employers to provide meaningful work experience opportunities to help tackle youth unemployment, skills gaps and improve social mobility.
