We, the undersigned Postmasters, call upon Post Office Ltd, Royal Mail, NFSP and the Government to urgently review the recently announced Royal Mail remuneration changes.
Many postmasters already earn significantly less than the equivalent National Minimum Wage when all hours worked put in acct

We are concerned that reducing remuneration in order to compete with other courier companies.Lower parcel prices do not guarantee higher volumes, and there is no certainty that any increase in transactions will compensate branches for the loss of commission.Instead, postmasters may face greater workload and reduced income. From many years postmasters have been told that work was underway to improve remuneration. The current changes is in the opposite direction and risk the sustainability of branches
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The UK Government is not responsible for Royal Mail. We can therefore not accept your petition.
