Protect Online Freedom: No Mandatory Digital ID for Adults: protect our freedom.

Rejected 9 signatures

What the petition asks

We oppose mandatory digital ID for social media. Adults should not have to prove their identity to access lawful online spaces. Digital ID threatens privacy, free speech, and civil liberties, while creating risks of surveillance, data misuse, and expanding state or corporate control.
We strongly oppose mandatory digital ID verification for social media. Law-abiding adults should not be forced to surrender personal data simply to communicate online. Such measures threaten privacy, free expression, anonymity, and civil liberties while creating risks of data breaches, surveillance, and mission creep. We call for proportionate alternatives that protect children without undermining the freedoms of millions or paving the way for greater monitoring and control.
