Petition
Parents should have control over their children’s screen time if under age of 18
Rejected
11 signatures
What the petition asks
Parents should have full control over their children’s screen time if below tue age of 18, such as controlling their app downtime and social media if necessary
Parents/guardians should have control over their own children’s screen downtime and social media apps, and accounts that they own if below the age of 18
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We're not clear what your petition is actually calling on the Government to do. Are you opposed to a statutory ban, because you believe parents should be making the decision for their children, rather than the Government, or are you calling for the ban only to have statutory effect for each family/child when their is formal agreement from the parents?
