What the petition asks
During the recent national Eisteddfod held on Ynys Môn this year a local tourist hotspot and creative Anglesey based business Melin Llyn professally painted their landmark windmill in the colours of the "Urdd".
However, the council is now insisting that the bakery paint it back to white. BORING!

We are petitioning the government and local planning council to apply some common sense and allow the colours to remain.
Everyone on Anglesey knows how much of a success and sense of pride the Eisteddfod brought to the isle this year and this company's efforts should be celebrated and not punished!
If we can get your support for it to be discussed in parliament surely we have a chance of a small victory for common sense and good healthy patriotism!

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
