Petition
No school on Wednesday due to unbearable heat

What the petition asks
I would like the UK government to not force children to go to school on Wednesday the 24/6/26 as the weather is due to reach massively hot temperatures.
As a student I believe making us go to school in these incredibly hot temperatures is close to torture. We should not be made to sit in a un-air conditioned with 30 or more other students and are still expected to be able to focus on the lesson. I’m aware that school is vital for a child but how are we expected to learn when we are so uncomfortable. On Wednesday the temperature is predicted to reach 35-37 degrees. This is far to hot to be in school and it is the hottest day of the year so far!
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
