Following Sir Keir Starmer’s resignation as Prime Minister, we veterans call on the Government and Parliament to dissolve Parliament immediately and hold a general election. The British people deserve a fresh democratic mandate.
Sir Keir Starmer has resigned as Prime Minister on 22 June 2026. As veterans who have served to protect British democracy, we call on the Government and Parliament to advise His Majesty the King to dissolve Parliament immediately and hold a general election. The British people deserve a fresh democratic mandate.
