Require a General Election When a Prime Minister Is Removed by Their Own Party

We call on Parliament to legislate that if a sitting Prime Minister is removed by their own party during a parliamentary term, a General Election must be held. While parties must retain the right to choose leaders, replacing the person exercising executive power without public consent creates a democratic gap. This reform would reduce instability, discourage internal power struggles, ensure accountability, and allow voters to confirm or reject major changes in national leadership.
