Petition

Immediate General Election

Rejected 12 signatures

What the petition asks

If a government experiences substantial changes, such as a change of Prime Minister,

The UK citizens feel that the government should seek renewed approval from the public.

General elections encourage public debate and refocus voters and re engage government leaders. Will Labour dismiss this?
The United Kingdom’s citizens called for a General Election in 2025. This fell to deaf ears and the result is the UK now has a governing party voting overwhelmingly for no confidence in Sir Keir Starmer’s leadership. This MUST mean the voters deserve a revisit.

General elections encourage public debate and refocus voters on key topics and policies and can help unite a country torn apart politically.

The question is, will our government take the country’s call seriously this time?
