Petition
Call for a General Election: Let the People Choose the next Prime Minister
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
We call for an immediate general election so that the public can choose the next Prime Minister. With a change in leadership, it’s essential that the government reflects the democratic will of the people. Let the voters decide who leads the country.
Since Keir Starmer resigned, the new Labour leader would not have been chosen by the public. To ensure democratic legitimacy, we need a general election so the people can choose the next Prime Minister directly.
