Petition

Petition for an Immediate UK General Election

Rejected 9 signatures

What the petition asks

The UK Government and Parliament must dissolve Parliament and return the decision to the people through an immediate General Election.
Now is the time for the people to decide!!
Labour was elected on a manifesto under Sir Keir Starmer. His resignation marks a leadership change, any successor lacks a direct electoral mandate as Prime Minister.

The public deserve the opportunity to decide, if they still have confidence in the Labour Government and whether their manifesto and future direction reflects their wishes.

Democracy is strongest when power rests with the people to decide.
