Fund relocation support & a specialist office for grooming & abuse survivors

What the petition asks
We call on the Government to fund a specialist office and relocation support, including security (cameras, alarms, panic buttons, identity changes) for domestic abuse/grooming survivors & families to relocate safely in the UK or abroad. This could prevent repeated trauma & mental health problems.
Grooming gang and domestic abuse survivors may face repeated forced moves due to threats. A lack of support can cause unstable housing, loss of belongings, and upheaval. Many survivors endure anxiety, nightmares, & breakdowns, and cannot work. Children can suffer fear, instability, & trauma.
Government funding for a new specialist office and relocation support, including security (cameras/alarms/panic buttons), identity changes, and ongoing provision of benefits support, could break this cycle, enable safe new starts & strengthen the Domestic Abuse Act 2021.
