Save Linton-on-Ouse: Stop 1,200 Migrant Asylum at RAF Base!

What the petition asks
Halt plans to house 1,200+ asylum seekers at RAF Linton-on-Ouse. This small North Yorkshire village (~800 residents) cannot safely absorb large numbers of illegal migrants. It risks family safety, strains services, and ignores local opposition. Previous proposals were scrapped. Protect our community
Stop the government’s plan to turn RAF Linton-on-Ouse into housing for 1,200+ asylum seekers. In this small North Yorkshire village of ~800 people, it will overwhelm local services, strain infrastructure, and raise serious safety concerns for families and local residents. Previous 2022 proposals were dropped due to fierce legal opposition. Demand full consultation, suitable alternatives, and protection for our rural community. Prioritise British residents first. Save Linton-on-Ouse!
Why it was rejected
It was about a matter for a local council or devolved government, not the UK Government or Parliament.
