What the petition asks
I think 6 July 2026 should be a nationwide bank holiday due to England’s World Cup game kicking off at 1am. It won’t finish until 3am, or 4am with extra time and penalties. This would leave many people sleep-deprived, disrupting schools and work. A one-off bank holiday would help reduce the impact.
