Review guidance and training relating to topical steroid withdrawal

What the petition asks
Review NHS prescribing guidance for topical corticosteroids, introduce clearer patient risk warnings for topical steroid withdrawal (TSW), and improve NHS diagnosis, treatment and staff training to prevent avoidable harm and sepsis.
Many people report topical steroid withdrawal (TSW) after using prescribed topical corticosteroids. Many face delayed diagnosis, inadequate support and serious complications. I developed life-threatening sepsis after being prescribed increasingly potent steroid creams for a small rash. Patients need better warnings, safer prescribing, and improved training so healthcare professionals can identify and treat it before avoidable harm occurs.
