Petition
For GPs to refer children to specialists sooner after worsening symptoms

What the petition asks
I would like to make it a law in all of the uk that GPs have to refer children to a specialist if they don't understand what's going on after a number of visits and worsening symptoms, parents understand their children more than anybody and their concerns shouldn't go ignored
The current state of our GP practices failed our family and we have suffered because of it with lifelong issues, if things get put in place sooner many other families won't have to suffer the way we did, so this petition is so close to my heart and we as parents need our worries heard and not be brushed off, too often GPs assume a child has a viral infection when infact making assumptions especially with worsening symptoms can cost a child their life and nearly did on this occasion
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
