Introduce stricter regulation for pet cremation

What the petition asks
I want stricter rules such as requiring those who carry out pet cremation to have license, compulsory inspections, mandatory identity tags on pets, storage standards, staff training and respectful handling. We also think there should be CCTV requirements covering all key areas of the crematoria.
My dog Teddy’s ashes went missing, after doing some investigating I uncovered an awful situation I’ll never unsee but I’ve also learnt how unregulated pet cremation is.
This has caused me trauma, but if any good can come out of it maybe it’ll help heal me and many other owners who are going through the same thing. In Teddy’s honour I’d like to try get pets remains treated with more respect to prevent heart ache or loss of ashes!
