What the petition asks

The general public to be banned from buying and selling fireworks. Only licensed premises to be able to buy them at specific times of year. Save the fires, wildlife, damage caused year after year.

Recent fires have once again devastated local places of beauty around Saddleworth causing devastating damage. All because teenagers thought it was an appropriate way to mark the loss of their friend. The cost to emergency services will be phenomenal. The cost to land and wildlife even greater.
Stop the sale of fireworks to the general public. There is no good that comes from it.
