Ban financial lobbying from groups linked to states facing active ICJ cases

What the petition asks
Legislate to ban groups with financial links to states facing active litigation at the ICJ from lobbying MPs and All-Party Parliamentary Groups. This includes a ban on MPs and APPGs accepting funded hospitality, travel or other gifts from these lobby groups.
Current legislation and rules regulate direct foreign funding, but third-party political lobby groups can bypass these restrictions. Many MPs have accepted gifts and sponsored travel from certain lobby groups linked to states accused of severe international law violations.
We believe Parliament should submit legislation to freeze the financial influence of these lobby groups. This could ensure the conduct of UK diplomatic relations and parties strictly align with international humanitarian standards and the rule of law.
