Petition

seek the dissolution of Parliament and hold an immediate general election

Rejected 9 signatures

What the petition asks

We call on the UK Government to seek the dissolution of Parliament and hold an immediate general election so that the British people can vote on the future direction of UK immigration policy.
We believe immigration and border security have become matters of significant national importance. We believe many members of the public want the opportunity to vote on policies relating to legal immigration, illegal immigration, asylum, border security, and immigration enforcement.
We therefore ask the Government to seek a fresh democratic mandate through an immediate general election.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

we already have a petition open calling for an immediate general election:

General election now – and always call one if a PM is replaced
