Fund free lifelong NHS prescriptions for organ transplant recipients

What the petition asks
Update the medical exemption criteria to make all post-transplant maintenance medications free on the NHS in England, ending the geographical inequality with the rest of the UK and preventing costly graft failures.
Transplants are lifesaving, not a cure. Many recipients face a heavy lifelong medication routine, sometimes starting at 30+ daily tablets. Prescriptions are free in Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, but not in England. Prepayment Certificates don't stop the financial strain, which may risk missed doses and graft failure. With dialysis costing up to £35k/year vs. cheaper maintenance, we believe charging patients is a dangerous false economy.
