Fund new university routes & support for disadvantaged mature students with ADHD

What the petition asks
Fund the creation of new, accessible pathways for adults from disadvantaged backgrounds who were diagnosed with ADHD or similar conditions later in life, including alternative entry routes and financial support, particularly for mature students pursuing essential professions such as dentistry.
Many adults grow up with trauma, alcoholic or absent parents, and little educational support. They are then diagnosed with ADHD later in life and may leave school with grades that do not reflect their ability.
We ask the Government to fund the creation of new university pathways, alternative entry routes, and support for disadvantaged adults with late diagnoses. We believe childhood trauma and undiagnosed conditions should not prevent someone from reaching their potential.
