Ban the sale and hiring of e-scooters across the country by 2028

Data suggests that e-scooters are dangerous to the riders and road users. In 2025, there were 1484 collisions recorded involving electric scooters - a 6.4% increase from the previous year - and at least 20-25% of these accidents involve those under the age of 18. A percentage of these accidents end fatally or result in severe injury, including broken bones and head trauma.
