CCTV covering classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, and entrances and exits, while respecting privacy by excluding bathroom interiors but monitoring bathroom entrances, can help deter bullying, protect pupils and staff, provide objective evidence when incidents occur, and improve accountability. Used responsibly with appropriate safeguards, it supports safeguarding, transparency, and faster, fairer investigations.
