As an amendment to motion S1M-00201 in the name of Christine Grahame (Borders Rail Link), leave out from “recognising” to end and insert “acknowledges the pioneering work of Borders Transport Futures, the efforts of the Campaign for Borders Rail, Scottish Borders Council, Scottish Borders Enterprise and local MPs for the restoration of the railway in the Borders; commends the commissioning of the feasibility study due to report imminently; calls upon all interested parties to act in partnership to promote the reintroduction of the railway which would enhance the economic prospects of the Scottish Borders, and affirms its support for the project.”
