As an amendment to motion S1M-02030 in the name of Mr John Swinney (Scotland's Place in the World), leave out from “calls upon” to end and insert “recognises that such initiatives play a part in Scotland enjoying profile and influence in Europe and the rest of the world as a dynamic country within the United Kingdom, and firmly rejects the view that Scotland can only achieve international prominence by separating itself from the United Kingdom.”
