Minister for Highlands and Islands
The motion
That the Parliament recognises that the Highlands and Islands have unique needs; notes that the case for the needs of the Highlands and Islands areas needs to be made at the highest levels of government; regrets the decision of the First Minister to drop the role of 'Minister for the Highlands and Islands' from the Scottish Executive and calls upon the First Minister to reinstate this role.
