Pride in the Job

That the Parliament congratulates Laing O’Rourke Scotland Ltd’s Gillian Jenkins from Crossford, Dunfermline, on winning the National House-Building Council’s Pride in the Job Supreme Award; recognises that she is the first woman to win this highest accolade in the house-building industry in the award’s 24-year history; notes that Pride in the Job recognises excellence amongst site managers in UK house-building; encourages best practice and drives up standards in the industry, and hopes that Gillian’s award will act as a shining example of achievement for all women working in the construction industry.
