All Energy Conference - Aberdeen, 25 and 26 May 2005
The motion
That the Parliament notes the All Energy 2005 conference at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre on 25 and 26 May 2005; welcomes and congratulates all involved in the conference; recognises the importance of Aberdeen as the energy capital of Europe and as a major centre for the development of renewable energy, including wind, wave, tidal, solar and biomass; recognises the benefit to the Scottish economy of these developments, and calls on the Scottish Executive to support the development of sustainable alternatives to onshore wind energy and to congratulate north-east companies, academics and industrialists involved in their development.
