Congratulations to Offshore Europe

That the Parliament sends its congratulations to those involved in the organisation of the Offshore Europe conference and exhibition running from 6 to 9 September 2005 in the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre and wishes all involved a successful event; recognises the importance of the oil and gas sector to the Scottish economy and its core position at the centre of the north east of Scotland’s economy; further recognises the number of jobs associated with the industry in all parts of Scotland; notes the future healthy prospects of the industry, and recognises the importance of a stable fiscal and political environment in order to continue this success.
