Renewable Energy - UK in the Dock
The motion
That the Parliament notes with concern that the United Kingdom (UK) is one of eight European countries facing legal proceedings for failing to support renewable energy properly; points out that, while it is the UK facing legal action, responsibility for renewable energy is wholly devolved to the Scottish Parliament, and therefore calls on the Scottish Executive to take immediate action to ensure full compliance with European legislation on renewable energy.
