Support for Scottish Food Fortnight

That the Parliament fully supports the objectives of Scottish Food Fortnight, which runs from 1 to 17 September 2006, in promoting the use of healthy Scottish produce and in the re-establishment of links between consumers and producers in this country, and accepts, furthermore, that this initiative will help the economic well-being of rural areas in Scotland through the promotion of local food.
