BBC Scotland Young Traditional Musician 2009
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Nairn-based fiddler Ruairidh Macmillan on winning BBC Scotland’s Young Traditional Musician of the Year for 2009; praises all six finalists on their skill and talent, and wishes them all every success in keeping the traditional musical heritage of Scotland alive and vibrant.
