The Salvation Army Centenary
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Salvation Army on its work with homeless people over the last 100 years in the city of Edinburgh; notes that it has provided a continuous service from its direct access hostel, The Pleasance; highlights that it has delivered services in partnership with other charities and that it continues to develop and grow its social work, particularly in the area of alcohol addiction, and thanks the staff and volunteers for all the work that they do to help homeless and vulnerable people throughout Scotland.
