Beautiful Scotland Award Success for Clydesdale

That the Parliament congratulates the communities of Lanark and Forth on their success in the Beautiful Scotland Award 2009; notes that Lanark was awarded a silver medal while Forth won the Jim Murdie Trophy for Sustainability, an award presented to the community entrant that demonstrates the highest commitment to sustainable development action, and commends these communities and all other entrants to the Beautiful Scotland Awards for their effort and dedication to improving the local environment and bringing local people together.
