Dark Skies over the Galloway Forest
The motion
That the Parliament notes the award of Dark Sky Park status to the Galloway Forest Park; recognises that this is the first such site outside the United States of America to be awarded Dark Sky status, which will clearly have a positive impact in attracting a new tourism sector to Galloway, and congratulates Forestry Commission Scotland on its successful bid.
