National School Sport Week
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Bank of Scotland, sportscotland and the Youth Sport Trust on their joint initiative to bring the National School Sport Week to Scotland from 7 to 11 June 2010; notes that, last year, this event attracted almost three million children to take part in sport and physical activity across England and Wales; welcomes its aim of expanding the numbers of Scots pupils taking part in sport, and urges Scottish education authorities to embrace this initiative.
