St Thomas' Primary School in Partnership with Wishaw Credit Union

That the Parliament commends the pupils and staff of St Thomas’ Primary School in Wishaw for their recent partnership with the Wishaw Credit Union; notes that St Thomas’ is the first primary school in North Lanarkshire to enter into such a partnership with the credit union; further notes that this partnership offers pupils and their parents an opportunity to save and manage their finances in a trusted, co-operative environment, and calls on the Scottish Government and local authorities to encourage and support similar initiatives across Scotland.
