Scotland's Best Pipe Band
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Boghall and Bathgate Caledonia Pipe Band and its Pipe Major, Ross Walker, for coming third in the Grade 1 Competition at the 64th World Pipe Band Championships held on 14 August 2010 at Glasgow Green, being the highest placed Scottish Band; also congratulates the Boghall and Bathgate Caledonia Juvenile Pipe Band for coming second in the Juvenile category, and further considers that both bands are carrying on the strong musical tradition of communities across West Lothian.
