The motion
That the Parliament notes the importance of family links to cutting reoffending; considers that the project run by Circle at Addiewell Prison has been successful in reducing reoffending to 30% and in cutting drug and alcohol dependence; further notes the importance of family and child contact to motivating prisoners for a successful release, and urges the Scottish Government to extend the project to other Scottish prisons.
