Bike Station Dream Fund Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Bike Station, based in Edinburgh South, on its £98,000 award from the People’s Postcode Lottery Dream Fund and notes that the Bike Station, in partnership with Lothians Greenspace, plans to use this to promote Edinburgh’s 70 miles of cycle paths by developing a cycle network map, working with communities to make cycle paths cleaner, safer and more appealing and by encouraging cycling as an alternative form of transport to cars.
