Scotland – the Best Place to Grow Up

As an amendment to motion S4M-05934 in the name of Aileen Campbell (Scotland – the Best Place to Grow Up), leave out from “welcomes” to “change” and insert “; considers that the evidence shows that investment in the under-3s gives the biggest return and the best chance of reducing the attainment gap and believes that free early education should be extended to 40% of two-year-olds, focussing on children from deprived backgrounds, to give them the best start in life”.
